A couple's painting date night at home definitely has its attractions. But leaving the house for a sip and paint date night brightens your mood, brings you closer, and creates special memories.
No more awkward silences
First dates don't always roll easily. But, when you go on a painting date night, there's a little less eye contact and conversation starters handed to you on a...canvas! All of this makes the evening feel more relaxed—especially with a glass of wine in hand.
The events are very interactive and led by local artists, who will walk you step-by-step through an acrylic painting from our library. We have 36,000+ original designs, including beginner's paint and sip ideas. You can literally come back time and time again and never do the same thing twice.
No phones
It's not that we don't allow phones, but it's pretty tricky to paint, sip AND scroll at the same time! Less phone time equals more meaningful conversations and enjoying the moment.
Of course, a photo break is still a must on a paint and sip date night. You know what they say: if you didn't take a picture, it didn't happen!

So, what can you expect from a Paint Nite event?
Your host will already have all the painting kits laid out when you arrive. Just pull up a pew, get in your first round, and you'll be ready for kick-off.
As we mentioned, the artist leading the event will show you all there is to know. They have a great knack for making the steps seem super easy, so the painting isn't intimidating.
We like to joke and have fun, so feel free to chat, laugh, talk with other guests, interact with the host, sing along to the banging playlist...whatever your heart desires. This is a judgment-free zone!
What's included in the ticket?
Your ticket includes all your art supplies: paintbrushes, acrylic paints, canvas...you name it.
How to prepare
Feel free to dress to impress (or don't!)—just try to pick something you don't mind getting paint on. You'll get an apron, but sometimes, there's a stray splash that has a mind of its own.
Other than that, all you need is yourself! As we say, we've got your materials covered.
Food & drink
Since we're in a restaurant or bar, not a painting studio, there are a ton of refreshment options. And each place is different.
You can eat dinner and paint, drink and paint or simply chat and paint.

We'd highly recommend picking up one of our paint party kits, as they contain everything you need. Then, you can choose whether you go for a live virtual event or an on-demand painting tutorial (great if you want to go at your own pace or plan a DIY painting party).
Both still have the same fun vibes as an in-person event, but virtual is definitely the closest as you can interact with the host and fellow guests.
